Available is an original United States Navy China Service Campaign Medal. The Medal was awarded to United States Navy personnel. It was instituted by Navy Department General Order No. 176 on 1 July 1942. The medal recognized service to those who served ashore in China or who were attached to any of the vessels that operated in support of the operations in China between 7 July 1937, and 7 September 1939. The medal comes on its original full wrap broach mounted ribbon with a rotating catch. The unnumbered rim of the medal contains the tell-tale signs of milling mark associated with the U. Mint Contract; a soldered suspension ring and milled edge. This medal, and the Second Nicaraguan, Yangtze Service and Dominican Campaign medal all came from the same source and were likely awarded to the same individual. However, I do not have an attribution. The medal and ribbon are in good condition but does show some light age. Please be sure to check out the pictures I have posted and judge condition for yourself. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
