USS Kirk Brass Presentation Plaque on Hardwood Base. Commissioned 9 September 1972. Decommissioned 6 August 1993. Fate: Transferred to the Taiwanese Navy. The plaque was made in the USA by Paul W. The plaque hung in my office at the Long Beach Naval Station in the early to mid 90’s and after the base closure had been safely stored. Check out my other military/nautical collection.
