Awarded to members of the USS MARYLAND BB46 who served and fought at Pearl Harbor this was presented to survivors recognizing the service of their ” FIGHTING MARY “. Launched on March 20, 1920, Commissioned July 21, 1921 and Decommissioned April 3, 1947 she preformed gallantly in the Pacific during World War II. She was anchored inboard of the Pennsylvania and behind the Arizona on battleship row Dec. Her Main Gun Battery was 8 – 16 45 Caliber Naval Rifles in 4 Twin Turrets.
