Terrific command plaque from the USS Stoddard DD-566 , a WW2 Fletcher Class Destroyer credited for downing 2 Japanese Planes, with another probable and one assist during the Okinawa Campaign at the end of WW2. During its long service career, the Stoddard served in WW2, the Korean War, and in the Vietnam War (It racked up 3 Battle Stars for both WW2 and the Vietnam War). The metal plaque has a 6″ diameter; the hard wood base measures 9.75″ x 13. It has a mounting clip on the back. This will show beautifully on your man cave–or she shack–wall!
