A RARE offering: the Command Plaque of the USS Hopewell DD-681, Patch, and Shoulder Rocker. The plaque is of painted ceramic (7″ x 8.5″) mounted on hard wood base (8.5″ x 12″). The Plaque is in very good condition overall… It has hardware in the back for quick hanging. The Fletcher Class destroyer served through WW2, Korea, and Vietnam. This plaque has the hallmarks of being cast during WW2. The patch and rocker were probably embroidered later.
