USN Military Squadron Pilot Flight Helmet. Please view entire listing and all photos. Please ask any questions before purchasing. I’m not a military helmet expert. I believe this helmet is an APH-6 or HGU-33 Flight Helmet from the 70’s – 80’s. A fellow told me the reflective tape means it was from the US Navy. Another fellow mentioned the shell could possibly be a DH151 or PRK-37. The helmet has wear with scratches and scuffs. The visor has scratches and the visor shield has a crack (see photos). The visor knob is missing. Some padding is missing. The one pad holds its shape. The foam from the headphones and leather edge roll has deteriorated. The headphones and cord are in bad shape and probably do not work. The headphones are marked “Sierra”. I believe the size may be a medium or large. The width between the headphones measures about 5.5″ – 5.75″. My head measures 22.25 in circumference and the helmet fits a bit loose. Check out my other items. For collectibles and more!
