Vintage, US Navy’Seabees’ Alpaca Wool Lined Vest. WWII era, from the 1940s.. Possibly early 1950s I have never come across this design, & i’m not certain about it. Vest is OD Green, with a nice Alpaca Wool pile lining. Unlike the USN Deck Vests i’ve seen, This Vest is Button-front instead of the zipper front. Vest also has button-flap Chest pockets. Seabees insignia on left pocket is custom done, but original to era of Vest. The Alpaca Lining has a few’thinned’ spots here & there, but nothing major.
