WW2 Navy Deck Coat Jacket Normandy D-Day. Very rare coat in a nice large size. Please notice that one button is missing but this is easily replaced. The original drawstring is located in the pocket. The size label is missing but the other tag is present. The coat is overall in excellent condition. No rips or tears or repairs. Considering it is 75 years old, it is beautiful. Coat measures 24 from armpit to armpit and shoulder to hem is 26. Sleeve length is 24 long. Cost does have some small spots of dirt here and there. The N1 is a classic jacket and highly sought after by collectors and vintage clothing collectors. The N1 saw use in all theatres of the war, including the European, the Mediterranean and the Pacific. Navy engineer brigades, landing parties and shore patrols all wore the jacket. It was a garment that was equally at home on land as it was on deck. Made classic by WW2 and again in the famous photo of legendary movie star Paul Newman. This is a vintage piece of clothing and will show signs of wear, just as any item thats 7 decades or more old.
