For sale here is a great looking US WW2 Naval Officers Green Dress Uniform Jacket. The uniform features a rare padded gold bullion flight wing, three place ribbon bar with three battle stars, and an extremely rare Felix The Cat squadron pin. The jacket has Lt sleeve rank and is in excellent lightly worn condition with all buttons present and no major issues. The jacket is tailor made from Gabardine and really is a fine piece. The jacket does show light wear and some soiling but is very nice. The wings show heavy toning and are on a padded piece of Gabardine. The ribbon bar is a Navy pinback with roller lock type. I assume that the Felix The Cat pin is for a Hellcat squadron, but I could not find this particular unit. Felix shows some wear and patina with a few minor enamel chips, but looks great. The pin is pinback and the back is unmarked. Inside, the jacket is lined in green satin and has a Weintraub Brothers and Co. The jacket is marked size 40 long but is not named or dated. The jacket has a cool wing and a great pin, it will be hard to upgrade. The measurements are below for your convenience. Armpit to armpit: 21. Top to bottom: 34.
