WWII Era Original US Navy Mark 2 Knife w/USN MK2 Plastic Scabbard – Blade Marked: USMC Ka-Bar, Olean NY – Large Letters w/Heavy Pommel – Very Nice Condition. The knife has a Stacked Leather Washer handle with a Blued Blade. This item is used, see photo’s for condition. Some evidence of sharpening to the blade. No rust or pitting on the blade. The knife is marked on the Blade USMC & Ka-Bar. This is the variation with the Large Letters and Thick Pommel with peened rectangular tang. The guard has a slight wiggle, the pommel is tight. The leather handle is in Nice Condition. The leather has darkened with age. The plastic USN MK2 Scabbard is in Nice Condition, with some minor hairline cracks. Snap is missing on the retention strap. It is marked on the rear NORD (Navy Ordnance Department) 6581 and B. Co (Beckwith Manufacturing Co) VP (Victory Plastics). This is a Nice Example of a WWII USN Mark 2 Fighting Knife. If you see M.
