Excellent original WW2 example of the US Navy full length leather’Coats Aircraft Transport’. Original belt and storm guard present. Leather is in superb condition as are the lining and the storm knits. Has couple of very small edge wear spots to the Mouton but otherwise the collar is extremely plush and not shedding or dry rotting etc. 19 inches across one side of the shoulder seams laid flat. 21 Inches from pit to pit across one side of the jacket when laid flat. 43 Neck to hem. 25.50 from the outside shoulder seam to the end of the cuff. The tailors dummy i have used is a UK40/Euro50 chest and i think this is the ideal size/fit but a slim 42 may well squeeze into this pretty comfortably with just a shirt.
