This Vintage 70s Grumman Aerospace Corp US Navy USN F-14 Tomcat “One Of A Kind” 8mm Promotional Film is in good, clean condition and appears to have been stored properly. The film canister is clearly marked by Grumman Presentation Services and is titled F14 ONE OF A KIND. The sticker label appears to have a date stamp indicating May 1972, which would place this promotional video correctly in the time period before the Tomcat went into active service in 1974. The canister contains a film reel that shows light signs of use. The film contained on the reel appears to be 8mm / Super8 film and looks as if it has been stored properly for many years. There is one small tear on the “clear” tail end portion of the film strip but no other damage can be observed. The film strip shows what appears to be a hand-written title “F-14 TOMCAT ONE OF A KIN” which seemingly indicates it is the film that the canister is labeled for. The film strip has not been tested and is in “as found” condition. Please examine the photographs carefully for the best description of condition.
