This is an original 1950’s USN USMC Combat jet pilot oxygen mask type MS22001. This mask is in very good condition with no damage or stains. It has the proper mounting strap assembly. The hose connector is marked Buaer US Navy. The mask has the proper microphone with cord attached. This type of mask was worn with the H-3 , H-4 and later the APH-5 flight helmet. They all used the snap type attachment. This mask is made of rubber. A mask similar to this one was also worn by the USAF with the P-4 jet pilot helmet. The only difference was the hose connector. This is a rare Vietnam War vintage 1968 USN & USMC pilot and crew oxygen mask Type MS22001 with microphone and the rare butterfly clips. It has a date of 1968 on the mask. It is a size medium. The mask is made by Sierra. The rubber is in excellent condition. It is a complete mask with the proper connectors, valves and microphone. This mask would have been used with the APH-6 flight helmet.
