United States Navy Man’s Wool Kersey Peacoat made by Pembroke Inc. A very cool and heavy waistcoat in very good shape, size is 36L and designed to keep you warm. All buttons are present with the Navy Insignia along with the manufacturers label and Sailors name. This coat would benefit from a visit to the dry cleaners as there is a slight odor from years of storage. Typical wear from Military use as can be expected but no tears, ready for years of keeping you warm or adding to your collection.

This Vietnam War era Navy Pea Coat peacoat is size 38L (38 long) and is in excellent condition. Very dark navy almost black. Please review the photos of the coat right side out as well as inside out. The tag reads “DSA 100-69-C-1448″ and the “69” indicates the manufacturing year by Dale Fashions. A rare addition stamped as this is a military issue and their service number. The coat is heavy, weighing 4.6 pounds, and is made of US Navy Midnight Blue 100% Kersey wool. Of note, prior to the 1970’s kersey wool was used in the pea coats which was much more dense, warm, and heavy than the melton wool. It has full button closure, is double breasted, has a Naval anchor logo on each button (8 buttons total), and one button attached to the interior of the left front to secure the front flap. Measurements are in inches. Shoulder to shoulder: 18. Sleeve (shoulder seam to end of cuff): 26.5. Length (back bottom of collar to hem): 22.25.
