Vintage US Union Instrument Corp Alidade with Leather Case. This listing is for used Vintage US Union Instrument Corp Alidade with Leather Case. This is a nice example. This listing includes the leather case that is marked US, the Alidade piece that is marked U. And a compass that points South and North. The leather case has a wooden insert that holds everything in place. There is one compartment that must of held something else at one point. This is an original Attitude Horizon indicator gauge instrument as used in the USN USMC A-4 Skyhawk. It is a AN/AJB-3 type artificial horizon gauge. This gauge was used by the pilot when flying on instruments in bad weather or at night.. This gauge is 5 x 5 1/4 x 9 1/2 inches and weighs 8 pounds. This is an original RARE USN & USMC McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II fighter aircraft Pilot’s main Instrument Panel. This panel is in excellent condition. It still has many small instrument clamps still attached. It has a partial Bu. Written on the top edge and part of a USN overhaul sticker. It is 24 x 18 x 5 inches.
