Vintage 1961 Remco Frogman Motor Operated U. Navy Commando In Original Box. Includes the Navy commando (some scuff marks), marker buoy and flag, helmet (no string to hold it on though), rifle (some scuff marks), adjustable ballast tanks, motor switch, regulator, air hose, face mask, depth guage, electric motor, battery box, weight belt and sheath (no bayonet), and spear gun (no spear). It does not include the snorkel or walkie talkie. Needs 4 “D” batteries to operate. Batteries are not included. The arms and fins are adjustable. Everything comes in the original box. There is a name on the top of the box and some pencil scribbles on the back. One of the top flaps is torn but stil manageable. These are all my own observations. The original box measures 28″x7″x13. This is a nice J Peterman Limited Edition USN Frogman military wristwatch in very good working condition. The case measures approx. 37.4mm wide (not counting the crown) & 43.1mm long (including the lugs). The original black dial is in MINT condition. Reads USN04841 Subsidiary seconds hand dial. The matte black anodized or powder coated black finish is in good shape with light signs of use. The rear case cover is stamped Made for the J. 0660/3000 Japanese quartz movement The watch has a brand new battery and keeps perfect time. Also comes with a green 16mm dark green military style strap. Apparently, these are hard to find. Only 3000 of these watches were ever made. This watch was model after a 1918 military USN watch.
