14 Gyroscopic Gun Sight! This gunsight was used specifically in gunner positions of various Battleships, Destroyers, Cruisers, and other vessels! The pneumatically-driven, gyroscopically-stabilized Mark 14, Modification 15, Gun Sight, was mounted on 40MM Bofors Anti-Aircraft guns on fighting ships of the US Navy during WWII. Made of aluminum, steel, and glass, and dating around 1944, this is an AMAZING NOS example. Though there are some scratches and wear from storage, it. Retains 98% of it’s original finish! All the glass is original to this sight, and t. He data plate is 100% intact, and clearly indicates the model and type. Comes complete in the original box, various manuals and instructions, locking key for case latches, and a thin optical scope. I have shown its location in the last photos.
