Eastman Leather clothing USN NEX Vf-3 Felix The Cat wool Windcheater. Beautiful lightweight easy wearing and warm. Made from 100% premium Melton Wool, featuring real horn buttons shuttle woven labels and worsted wool knits. The jacket is in fantastic conditions, Ive had it a couple of years and its had pretty light use. There is a slight snag on the left knit. Its not a hole, just a snag, and obviously barely noticeable. And the right knit does have a wee hole, again its hardly noticeable because the knits are, well knitted, so the fabric stretches. But I want to point out any slight flaws so please inspect pics. Also the right pocket bag has a bit of discolouration. Again not noticeable unless you pull it inside out I just want to be as thorough as poss to avoid disappointment. This is from my waxed leather card wallet that I carried in that pocket. I must say the pocket bags are made from a very sturdy cotton. Size is 40 but here are the measurements taken with the jacket laid flat. Pit to pit 21.5. Bottom of collar to end of knit (bottom of jacket) 24.5. Shoulder seam to end of sleeve knit 26. The wool is a beautiful navy blue with tiny flecks of silver in the mix, which adds some beautiful texture to the jacket. The USN Vf-3 insignia is really weighty and beautifully and painstakingly hand embroidered just like the originals (not mass/ machine embroidered) It measures approx 5 in diameter. Navy pea coat is in excellent condition with all of the buttons, neck strap piece, size tag, and manufactures tag in tact. There is no repairs or damage I can find except the size tag is only attached on one side. The size tag is readable. The person this coat belonged to has marked out his name and rank on the manufacturers tag. There is a little discoloring at the back of the neck area. These measurements are approximately: Armpit to Armpit 20 inches. Chest size 40 inches. Sleeve from Armpit to wrist 16 inches. Length from folded down collar to bottom hem 33 inches. The 10 buttons are approximately 1 1/8 Inches wide. The buttons are black. The inside of the jacket has 2 pockets. The outside of the jacket has 2 yellow corduroy lined pockets in tact with no holes. The inside jacket lining is in perfect condition. Please see all of the photos for the condition. The last 3 photos show the tags. This item is a beautifully created near mint U. The measurements are 18.5 inches from top shoulder sleeve seam to other too shoulder sleeve seam. Top shoulder/sleeve seam to cuff is 24 inches. The very minor staining is at the back of neck area at the tag and hanging loop lining area and back of neck wool collar areas. This Pea Coat has very little to no wear.
