This is the lot of 8 tumblers, they are the clear colored glass with the gold bands and the United States Navy Submarine emblem on the front. On the bottom each has the acid etched mark of the glass blower, they were made by Corning Glass. Each tumbler measures 2-1/2″ X 4-3/4″ and all 8 are in excellent condition.

This patch most likely made during the interwar period between Korea and Vietnam. Many more patches coming soon. Korean/Vietnam War era patch for one of the most iconic class of carriers ever built. This is a nice condition, original cut-edge, machine embroidered 1950’s Japanese made Task Force 77 variant, pocket patch (approximately 6 1/2 x 4 3/4 inches), with some wear & some mild fraying. What makes this patch so unique is the silhouette of the aircraft carrier added to the top left of the patch. US Navy Task Force 77 was established late in World War Two; however, during the Korean War, thousands of air strikes against Communist North Korean and Chinese armies were carried out by carriers operating as a part of this task force. From 1952 through 1955, USS Kearsarge served three tours of duty in the Far East before. Undergoing modernization in 1956-57. Many more patches coming soon.
