This is a Spencer 7 x 50 Mark 30 Mod 0 Vintage WWII 1943 US Navy Binoculars. From a local estate. Cosmetics-Good overall with some general edge wear and paint loss. They would make a fairly nice display item in a collection. The covering is solid but feels tacky to the touch. Operationally the eye level controls turn but are stiff. Especially the left one is hard to move. The optics inside are very dirty and hazy. See last photos above where I tried to show some of this. Definately could use cleaning. One of the large ocular sides have some multi coating loss around the edge area. The image looking through them though was still sharp otherwise with no ghosting.
