A beautiful desk model of the USS Whale (SSN-638) Nuclear Submarine. Nicely mounted on a wooden base which measures 13 1/2 in length. The heavy model measures 11″ in length and the wooden base is 3 1/2″ wide. Two fins have broken off, one has been glued back on and one is missing. The brass plaque names the person it was presented to and from whom. Overall this is a very cool piece, probably could have the missing fin replaced if your crafty. Not made from plastic or metal but is heavy and well made.
