Navy Farewell Presentation Plaque from Sea Control Squadron 41 (VS-41 “Shamrocks”), NAS North Island, San Diego, California. Features an S-3 Viking aircraft photo over Coronado, squadron patch, engraved brass plate, and numerous signatures from shipmates. Mounted with an authentic aircraft turbine blade bearing the VS-41 emblem with a metal backing. Presented to AM1 Rick Vogel upon his transfer from AIMD North Island. A rare and impressive piece of naval aviation history. Measures approximately 18″ x 23.5″ and weights almost 10 lbs. VS-41 operated the Lockheed S-3 Viking until its disestablishment in 2006.
