This rare artifact measures approximately 6″ x 4.5″ x 1 3/4 at widest points, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity! The USS New Jersey Battleship (BB-62) was launched in 1942 and took part in the numerous battles in the Pacific Theater during WW2, including for the assault on the Marshall Islands, the Battle of the Philippine Sea, and the invasion of Okinawa. She served as the flagship for both Admiral Halsey and Admiral Spruance and earned 9 battle stars during the war. Following the War, she served in the Korean War, the Vietnam War and various Persian Gulf conflicts receiving another 10 battle stars for her service in these conflicts.
