1963 USS SARATOGA USN NAVY AIRCRAFT CARRIER LOG BOOK UNIFORM PATCH PHOTO LOT. A nice lot from an estate. Photo’s included, but none captioned. Embroidered patch has small ding at the bottom, unsewn, Large 1960 photo of Recruit Training is creased, torn, with heavy edge and corner wear. Photo of the deck of the carrier has creased upper corner. The log has soiled and worn cover, interior good overall. The patch measures 5 1/4d for reference. No names of whom the lot belonged to, but a photo of a sailor believed to be the owner is included. It might be a fun research project. Also included is 8 postcards from Italy, I assume picked up on leave during the cruise. Failure to read full description may result in delays and misunderstandings. I do not set rates and can’t afford to absorb these costs, being a small operation.
