Witty Wings & Sky Guardians F-14A Tomcat – VF-111 “Sundowners”. WTW-72-011-008, Scale – 1:72. Unit – USN VF-111 “Sundowners” NL 200 – “Miss Molly” – nurse Molly Snead was the Navy nurse who cared for Carl Vinson and his wife. Sundowners meant shooting down the Japanese “Suns” but was also a nautical term in which sailors would work until the sun went down below the yard arm and appropriate beverages were served. Campaign – USS Carl Vinson 1989. Markings – tan-gray with No. 200 in red with NL 200 and red and white “Sundowners” insignia on tail with “Miss Molly” under cockpit with artwork. Sharksmouth on front nose (art). Comes with green limited edition collector’s card (only 888 made). Coms with attachable landing gear and sleeve of armaments. Model – Grumman F-14A Tomcat.
