Has a blue lucite base. Perhaps a few small scuffs. Very few were given out as awards. This was a presentation piece given out at the launching. Perhaps 35 years old. The USS West Virginia SSBN 736 is a US Navy Ohio class ballistic missile submarine. It is the 11th out of 18 known subs. It is one of the most powerful war machines ever built. The real sub is 560 feet long and carries up to 24 Trident II/D5 nuclear missiles each with up to 14 nuclear warheads each missile. It is The Beast. Approximate size in lucite is 9 inches long X 2.5 inches X 2 inches. Big, heavy, cool looking. Great for the office desk, shelf or coffee table.
