We are pleased to offer a handsome silverplated open serving bowl made for the U S Navy by International Silver Co. It features the classic Fouled Anchor and USN monogram on one side. It carries a date stamp of 1942 and features a braid around the outer rim of the bowl which would indicate use in an Officers’ Mess. We were unable to determine its history of shipboard residence. A true collector’s piece! Please check our other items. Condition: Very good – it has use scratches and minor plate wear; typical of a piece that has seen heavy use.
