Model 1852 Naval Officers Sword Sharkskin Scabbard. There are no breaks, surface loss spots, the seam shows shrinkage, there is a bend towards the drag end, the mounts and drag are gone. Overall the scabbard length is 32. The throat opening is 1 3/16″ x 1/2″ at the widest point and 3/8 at the thinnest. This does fit the Model 1852 Civil War Naval Sword by Samuel Hoppe sword that I have listed, it is just a bit long on it. Check out my other Civil War Items!
