Up for sale is a vintage print of a painting made for the US Navy Arty Collection by artist George Gray. This is of the submarine tender USS Proteus AS-19 in Holy Loch, Scotland. Shows the transfer of a Polaris missile to the submarine USS Patrick Henry. She was decommissioned again in 199, before being scrapped in 2008. The print measures 22″ X 28″. This was previously framed and does show some wear to the edges and does have some foxing. No rips, tears, stains or odors. Once matted and framed properly will look wonderful.
