Original WWII leather flight jacket in excellent restored condition. I acquired the jacket from an estate sale in Seattle. Back of the collar has a faded black US stamp, which makes this a AN-6552 jacket and dates it to 1943. The original owner was a Navy pilot in WWII… I will include this with the jacket. Kept the original mouton fur collar in place despite it’s wear, because it gives the jacket a great vintage look. Dena has mouton and can replace the collar if it becomes unserviceable. I have included a photo of the jacket before restoration for comparison. The new lining is rayon and is not a perfect color match to an original lining (the original lining of this jacket was very worn and faded). The original label had been lost so I replaced it with a repro label. The zipper was about to break so it was also replaced, but the original leather tab was re-attached to the new zipper.
