This helmet has two names written on it. Brewer on top of the liner. I had found a sailor with initials C. That had served with the 7th Beach Battalion. This is the one I believe wore this helmet. My wife searched and found information about this sailor. She found an E. Brewer that was also a sailor at the end of the war but could not find a connection with shore duty. There also are a couple perfect finger prints in dark blue ink inside shell. A picture of spilled blue paint on the top of the helmet. It has all of the signs of a been there done that helmet. I will offer a 15 day return if this helmet is not as described. Have provided outside and inside shots for you to study with. It will be hard to up grade this helmet for your collection.
