Offered is a 100% original World War Two United States Navy M1926 inflatable flotation belt. This belt presents in very good, as pictured condition. Its only issues, aside from the staining and spotty discoloration from age, are the broken loop as pictured above SPARKLETS and a couple of small cracks/holes in one area of the canvas outer liner, as pictured. These belts were issued by the U. S NAVY to each and every soldier who took part in OPERATION OVERLORD ON D-DAY on June 6, 1944. These historic belts are difficult to find in virtually any condition, particularly in very good original and displayable condition like this one. A great item for a World War Two or United States Navy collector and a must for the D-Day collector.
