This US Navy USMC Marine WW2 BLADE MARKED KA-BAR FIGHTING KNIFE is in very good condition, with some light sharpening to the blade edge and the top false edge, some scratching, scabbard wear, finish abrading, and spot patina at each side of the blade, some light patina to the guard and pommel, a bit of loosening to the guard and upper handle washers, some light nicking to the handle, and with some scattered age wear evident (ALL pictured). Otherwise, the knife is in fine shape, with no other damage. Most interestingly, it features a 7″ clip point bowie blade that retains approximately 75% of the original parkerized finish, sports the classic stacked leather washer “tootsie roll” handle, and is simply stamped at the ricasso with its maker, the famous “KA-BAR, with no branch of service marking at the reverse, likely denoting a joint service contract knife.
