(J 24) For sale here is a great looking US WW2 Navy Fur Lined Deck Jacket. The jacket is in good worn overall condition with no major issues, other than the missing zipper and a few ugly teeth. The jacket shows soiling and wear, but the cuffs are in good condition other than a few piques and holes. The USN stencil on the front is legible but faded. The back of the jacket is stenciled Chub 3. My research has shown me that there was a Submarine USS Chub SS-239 that earned 3 battle stars in the Pacific! There also appears to be some paint stains on the lower back of the jacket. All buttons and grommet are present. Inside, the alpaca fur lining is all present and in good shape. The waist drawstring is missing. The Navy department contract tag is present and is marked size 38. This is a great jacket with just the right amount of wear, a great stencil, and a good look.
