Post WWII Model 1852 USN-US Navy-Naval Officers Etched Sword with Leather Scabbard. One side of the ricasso is marked “Fabrica Berme C Toledo” over “Spain” and “Stainless”, the other side has “Proved” inside the star. The brass guard, grip, twisted wire are all tight, also the grip and twisted brass wire are complete. The etched blade is straight, clean, and has not been sharpened but the tip is sharp. The leather scabbard has a few small scuff spots and the brass features have a few very small minor dings that are mainly on the drag. Felt washer is intact. Has a chain through the sword hanger rings. Length of the blade measures 30″ (3/4″ wide x 1/8″ thick), length of the sword is 35 3/8″, and overall in the scabbard it is 36.
