Here for sale is a true vintage USN issued 55j14 (AER) (G-1) flight jacket. It’s specification number dates it to the late 1940s and it is a size 40. Usual wear with an almost 60 year old jacket but and the leather is in amazing condition for its age no rips to the leather. Leather could use a light coat of leather conditioner as it is a little dry but not cracked. The cuffs and waistband are ripped and have holes in them. The fur collar is also balding in areas/ coming apart as seen in photos. Lying flat and zipped up the outside of the jacket measures. 20 across from pit to pit. 25 from the seam on the back of the neck to the bottom of the knit.
