For sale is an early 1940’s US Navy Department foul weather parka/deck jacket. These are increasingly rare and this one is a worthy collectible. It is complete with belt, all buttons/strings. It is stenciled USN on the left breast. It is made of khaki twill that is rubberized to shed water. It could likely still perform in foul weather. The alpaca lining is surprisingly good including the hood. I did not attempt to clean the item because some folks like the rough used look. I do believe it would clean up a great deal and look even better. It is heavy and a little stiff from age but still totally wearable. The photos are considered part of the description.
